Founded during the summer of 2016, the first formula electric team has been constantly worked upon to bring the first Concordia electric vehicle to competition.

 

- 2016: founded the team

- 2017: showcased prototype at formula-e

- 2018: attended the first competition, Formula North. Got great feedback from judges. 

 

Concordia's Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) is a student-organized group that brings real-world engineering projects and applications to the undergraduate student body. The FormulaCoordinator is in charge of the designing, building, manufacturing, testing and the competition of the Formula Race Car. This includes managing team members and holding team meetings, as well as delegating and managing the tasks team members need to accomplish. They also train new team members, attend the SAE Council meetings and report to the Vice President monthly.
