Concordia SAE Supermileage 2013-2016
Concordia SAE Supermileage is a group of dedicated students who design, build, and compete highly fuel efficient prototype vehicles.
The objective of the SAE Supermileage competition is to design a one-person vehicle that gets as much mileage to the gallon as possible using a sponsored 148cc Briggs & Stratton engine. To meet this challenge Concordia’s Supermileage team has worked and continues to work tirelessly on the design and fabrication of the vehicle.
This experience allowed me to work with other students in other Engineering fields. I learned lot of hands on, practical knowledge, time management and how to work as a team.
I was the Lead electrical engineer of the team between 2013-2015 and Electrical director of a small team in 2015-2016. In addition I was the driver.
I got to work on the general wiring of the car, the ECU and a data acquisition system. Custom PCBs and embedded software were made.
